A New Medium - Crochet Mug Cozy

Pinterest was at it again yesterday....inspiring me to step out of my box and try something new. I saw these lovely crochet coffee cozies and knew immediately I was going to try to make one.





The last time I crocheted was 2 years ago. I made a pitifully simple baby blanket for Demi while I was pregnant.
This was pretty easy to understand but it needs work. I don't ever know what to do with all my hanging strings, and I didn't know how to attach the loop, so I just winged it :) And that color yarn was not by choice...it was all I had.





Before you know it this will be a necessity for those cold days, and that mug will be filled with a pumpkin spice latte.




Don't judge me, but I'm so ready for fall. What's not to love? Well .....except that fall brings winter. And we all hate winter right?


Anyway...this is my dream crochet project:




Doesn't get more classic and beautiful than that.

    Mmmm fall. It seems like everyone is loving on fall on Pinterest and on blogs. I'm just so excited for the cooler weather and sweaters and scarves!! Nice work on the crocheted mug cozy, better than I could do and I crochet all the time!

    Love your cup cozies! I have seen then on some blogs from the UK. I've recently gotten into crochet. I find it a great way to relax.
