Finished Projects

I finished another quilt last week. This one will hopefully be our picnic/outdoor quilt. I used inspiration found HERE. I say "hopefully" because it's already seen it's fair share of couch cuddling :)

I also made this "out to eat" placemat for Demi. Tutorial found HERE.

  1. Do you hand stitch your binding or do you machine stitch? I'm working on putting binding on my first quilt this weekend and I am trying to figure this out so I don't screw up what took a lot of work and it makes me nervous!!!

    1. I know the feeling! I hand stitched the binding on my first quilt, and I'll never do it again! It was such a waste of time and no one would ever notice. And I've already had to repair it. I've definitely found a really good method that works for me. I cut my strips 2.75. Sew it down to the front first then I iron it on the front, flip my quilt over and iron again to the back. I use binding clips to secure the binding to the back and then I stitch in the ditch from the front. It always come out perfectly for me. Hope this all makes sense, and if not I could probably find you a tutorial that would show you :) Good Luck!!
