Charlie Brown Quilt
My super secret quilt is done!! It's a gift for my husband for our two year anniversary, which just so happens to be cotton....lucky me!!! We are both sooo impatient when it comes to gift giving so this was given early :) Fortunately it was a perfect gift because my husband is a lover of quilts too. And Demi has definitely inherited that trait from both of us. If there is a blanket in her line of sight she is tackling it and showing it some love. It's the cutest thing ever. I'll have to share my gift that was made of cotton someday....it's gorgeous but can only be brought out for a very special occasion ;)
I got the tutorial from Crazy Mom Quilts.
And in true quilter fashion...I already have my next project lined up. Pattern and fabric are purchased and I can't wait to get started. It will be Demi's for her toddler bed, which I know is quite a bit down the road but I want to get some inspiration for decorating. The fabric is Modern Meadow by Joel Dewberry.
After I bought this pattern I realized it was a lot like Fresh Lemon Lemon Squares Quilt that is a free pattern (palm to forehead)....oh well, I don't mind supporting my fellow crafters and it must be really hard to right up a pattern like that anyway.
Jon and I are still closing things up with our future home and will hopefully be moving in the next few weeks. Our new place is right around the corner from a very cool fabric shop which might not bode so well for the ole bank account, but I'm super excited to check it out.
Ok...off to work on Demi's dress for her FIRST birthday party!!!! Can't believe it's been a year already.

I can't wait to see your new quilt for Demi's toddler bed! I've always thought those fabrics would be so gorgeous for a little girl's room! And that pattern looks like a lot of fun!
