I feel like I have nothing substantial to talk about lately. We had a great weekend. My in-laws came for the weekend. The Derby was Saturday and we watched at the Hardrock downtown. My husband took me shopping on Mother's Day and we had a BLAST! He spoiled the crap out of me :) I didn't take ANY pictures this weekend...shame shame!

I made my mother-in-law a few gifts, including this make-up pouch. I love these colors together. I think she did too ;)





I also made this fabulous apron! You can find the pattern in the book "I love Patchwork" but I couldn't get my hands on it so I just made up my own pattern. It's so much more lovely in person. It's made with linen, kona coal, and lots of designer squares.
