a first birthday and hourglass quilt

My husband's co-worker is having a baby any day now so I decided to make her a quilt last week. I used a tutorial by Cluck Cluck Sew. There was leftover fabric so I made a matching bib using a pattern from the One Yard Wonders book. I am seriously in love with this line. When I first started sewing about 2 years ago I couldn't understand what all the hype was and why you had to pay $50 for a fat quarter on Etsy.....then it was re-released and I couldn't resist. I still have a fat quarter set of the whole line that I'm saving for......wait for it......another quilt!!!!

I also have been putting my camera to good use. I had my favorite shoot ever last weekend. It was a first birthday party and I am in LOVE with the finished products.

I know I saw this somewhere but couldn't find the original source. Thanks for the idea though!

The worst thing happened while setting up for this shot. I tied the balloons to the bastket, turned around....looked back and they were flying up into the trees!!! I had 45 mins to go to the store and get another set and make it back by the time the party started. It all worked out though and they were such a great family to work with.

  5. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or
copyright infringement? My website has a lot of unique
content I've either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any solutions to help prevent content from being stolen? I'd certainly
    appreciate it.
